School Picture Day!

Today was picture day at school! Emily looked too adorable in her school bus jumper and red shoes :) She also loves to wear her Day School t-shirt. The kids all wear their shirts together on the same day.

Emily's New Ride!

Emily and Clark both got new tricycles for Clark's Birthday from Nana and Papa Clark. Emily is working really hard to learn how to peddle. She absolutely loves her helmet and pads!

Our Last Beach Blog :)

Today was our last day at the beach :(

It was so beautiful today. The water was as clear as we've ever seen. Emily had another fun day of playing in the sand and swimming. She enjoyed the ocean water even more today. We are looking forward to getting back home. Emily is ready to get back to church and her friends at school.

Our day at the beach...

Today was another beautiful day on the coast! We pretty much spent a lazy day under the tent, with a couple of naps, and swimming in the ocean (yes, Miss Emily braved the ocean today...in her Daddy's arms of course) and the pool. We then attempted to get some good shots of Emily on the beach (and she was not in the mood for that), but we got a few decent shots, out of over 150 taken. We ended the evening at Pier Park for ice cream!!!

I've put together more pictures from today at the beach. Emily had a great time knocking down the sand castles that her Daddy put together. The weather just keeps getting better each day! We definately made the right decision to come on down in spite of Gustav. We headed over to eat dinner tonight at Capt. Anderson's. That is where the boat pictures were taken.

The Beach Today

Today, we enjoyed playing on the beach and swimming in the pool. We learned really quick to pick up Cheerios accidently dropped (we were bombarded by seagulls). The weather was great, and you would never know that a hurricane just swept through the Gulf.

We made it to the beach today! We are still feeling the effects of Gustav, with high winds. We did manage to make it to the pool this afternoon, and Emily really enjoyed swimming. We walked out to the beach, but didn't stay too long. The wind was way too strong. We think it should be much better tomorrow...so stay tuned for more photos!
p.s. Emily ate shrimp for the first time tonight, and she liked it!!! Definately takes after her Mommy and Daddy in that respect :)
