Farmer Emily!

We have a couple of tomoto plants, one for Emily with miniature cherry tomoatoes, and one for me, with giant-sized ( or what should be giant-sized)tomatoes. We both absolutely LOVE tomoatoes! Well, we picked the first batch of ripe tomatoes off of Emily's plant, about 15 of them, and she enjoyed every single one. And... I'm still waiting on my giant-sized tomatoes....not even one single bloom yet. Oh well, so much for the upside-down theory....didn't work for me :( Guess I will be making a trip to the farmer's market for fresh tomatoes.

I put together a little slideshow of Emily with her Daddy over the last 3 years. She is absolutely CRAZY about her Daddy, as you can see. We are both very greatful for him, today and every day!!!

Birthday Parties, Family & Fun!!!

We had an extrememly busy but fun weekend. It all started in Athens Friday night with Reid and Kate's 4th B'day Party at the Kiddie Carnival Emily had a blast on all the rides, and it was fun to see college friends that we haven't seen in a while. On Saturday, it was Stella-Beth's B'day Party, and a visit from Nanny, PawPaw, Aunt Suzy, Brittany, Rebecca and Peyton! And then church on Sunday, and crash time that afternoon. Definately packed every second of the weekend full!!!

Look What We Found!!!!

We found this nest in our backyard with 2 little eggs. The Momma bird doesn't mind us playing in the backyard...she just continues to sit on her eggs. Emily likes to check on them :)

I went to get the mail one day, and heard little chirps. Looked in the paper box, and look what I found :) They are so sweet!!!

Rebecca's 9th B'day!!!

We celebrated Rebecca's 9th Birthday with her! She got the coolest blow-up water slide. Emily absolutely loved it :) She didn't hesitate one second to climb up that high wall and slide down.
