Christmas Day!!!

Christmas morning began at about 7:00 am. Emily wasn't quite sure what to think about all the new toys in her living room. She stood for awhile, checking out the scene, and then decided to check out the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Then, she made her way over to her dollhouse. She absolutely loved the fishing game at first, until she realized she wasn't catching any fish. Then she got really mad and aggrevated, and we had to put it up :) Her favorite gift from Santa was the $5 Big Lots Disney Princess CD player...go figure! She also loved her $5 Big Lots TMX Ernie. He is pretty cute! We had a difficult time diverting her attention from those things to get her to open the rest of her gifts under the tree and to look in her stocking. She finally figured out that Cailou was in her stocking, so she decided to check him out. She also found a new pair of fuzzy Crocs, her 2008 Swarovski ornament, some new bathtub crayons and new Crayola Color Wonder Mickey Mouse Clubhouse book. She got a pink Doctor kit, and several new outfits! Santa was extremely generous this year!!! We had such a great day, with visits from all grandparents, and our neighbors came by to see all that Santa had left for Emily. She is now fast asleep in bed after a FABULOUS Christmas!

Christmas Eve - Part Two...

We spent Christmas Eve afternoon with the Myers clan. Emily was pretty much wiped out, but she hung in there pretty good. The chaos all started with the girls helping PawPaw pass out the mountain of gifts. Emily got lots more toys, and some great clothes. When she opened up the first outfit, she stripped down and wanted to put it on :) Uncle Wayne got a box full of switches from Rebecca, which he is well deserving of! Peyton got a really neat tent that she and Emily both loved. Rebecca got a "Just Like Me" doll from American Girl. Nanny and PawPaw got matching rocking chairs. And the grand finale of the evening was the matching Radio Flyer Liberty Horses for Emily and Peyton! It was another great afternoon of food and family. Then, time to head back home to Florence for Santa's visit!!!

Christmas Eve - Part One...

We started Christmas Eve at Nana and Papa Clarks house with a wonderful brunch, and then loads of presents!!! Emily got an awesome art desk, toybox and plenty of baby dolls and toys to fill it up! Clark got a big train table for all of his Thomas sets, and a really cool remote-control car, and lots of other toys too! They had so much fun playing with each others toys :) Emily loved the Craftsman Flashlight and Drill, and Clark was really curious about Emily's baby's too. But, they were each very excited to take home the gifts that had been given to them. We all got really great gifts, and enjoyed spending time together. It was especially nice to have Mama Burns with us this year. She was able to enjoy the little ones with their new toys.
