We started Christmas Eve at Nana and Papa Clarks house with a wonderful brunch, and then loads of presents!!! Emily got an awesome art desk, toybox and plenty of baby dolls and toys to fill it up! Clark got a big train table for all of his Thomas sets, and a really cool remote-control car, and lots of other toys too! They had so much fun playing with each others toys :) Emily loved the Craftsman Flashlight and Drill, and Clark was really curious about Emily's baby's too. But, they were each very excited to take home the gifts that had been given to them. We all got really great gifts, and enjoyed spending time together. It was especially nice to have Mama Burns with us this year. She was able to enjoy the little ones with their new toys.

The Christmas Card Photo Shoot
Back on November 6th, I took Emily to the garden at First United Methodist, and spent over an hour getting some shots for Christmas cards. Over 200 pictures were made, and luckily, we were able to use a few for Christmas cards :) We had a whole lotta fun though! I haven't posted them until cards went in the mail, and that happened yesterday, so I thought I would share pictures from that day!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
We got snow last night in Florence! Emily couldn't wait to get outside in it this morning to play! Watch the video above, and you can hear her break out into "Jingle Bells"....so sweet (you might have to turn music off at the bottom of the page). And then, she wanted to know where HoHo was? It's so funny how they associate that with snow :)

Emily's Preschool Christmas Program
This morning was Emily's Preschool Christmas program. And, I'm sure you can imagine, with a stage full of 2 year olds, how it all went down. Some kids would spot Mommy, and start crying. Others, like Emily, just sat there and looked scared to death. And, you always have the one or two who ham it up and put on the show. They were all adorable though, and it was so much fun to see them all up there together. Emily sings the songs perfect at home, but wasn't really into the program (like I said, she looked scared to death on that stage). And when Santa entered the room, it was all over :) There are a couple of videos that you can watch below.

Caught In The Act...
Well... I figured this was going to be our year...the year that Emily would be interested in pulling off ornaments from the tree. I caught her in the act here (you can see the broken one laying on the floor) :) But how can you get upset? She just absolutely loves the trees and the ornaments, and just wants to hold them. Luckily, we don't have very many expensive ornaments, and those are all at the top of the tree!
Sergeant is getting in on the action too :)
So sweet....Emily is reading to her doll about Christmas!
Getting ready for naptime...
