Fun Times Outdoors!

We have been enjoying the warm weather outdoors. Emily has been able to get out and run around, and play with all of her outside toys. She loves being outside with Sergeant and Sadie!

Squeaky Clean!!!

Emily loves her bath every night. She gets her bath in Mommy's big tub :) And after bath, she loves brushing her teeth with her Tigger and Pooh toothpaste. When she gets her toothbrush, she says "I want Tigger on it"!

SNOW!!!

We woke up in Florence to a beautiful blanket of snow on the ground. Scott got out early to take a few pictures and to watch Sadie run around in it. We kept Emily inside, since she is getting over her sickness. We did stop for a second to snap a picture of her on our way out to church.

On our way home from church, the neighbors down the street had built this gigantic snowman! It's the biggest one I've ever seen. But, as you can see, all the snow has melted away :) It was beautiful while it lasted.

Where has February gone???

I've just looked up, and realized that February is almost over...only 2 more days left. Where has the time gone??? It seems like Christmas was like last week. February has been filled with lots of fun, and lots of sickness. Right now, Emily is battling a mild case of pneumonia. She's doing good, but needless to say, we are hibernating for a while. We've obviously been stuck inside a lot this month, due to sickness and weather, because I just looked through all of my pictures from the month, and there aren't very many. But, here are a few, just to document what we've been up to...

After our visit to Dr. Carter yesterday, Emily came home, drug out her doctor kit, and started examining Bitty Baby.

She gets extra popscicles when she is sick :)
Earlier in the month, Rebecca was in her school's beauty pageant.

Before church on Sunday...

Valentine's weekend, Scott and I got to go to Nashville, and Michael W. Smith was at the Opry...he was AWESOME!!!
And, this month, we set up Emily's big girl bed. She loves it!!!

Through The Fire...

I just wanted to share with you a song that I sang with our choir Sunday called "Through The Fire". This song has been a favorite of mine for a long time, and the words just speak volumes to me. We are going to face difficulties constantly in life...He never promised us we wouldn't. But, He has promised us that He will never leave nor forsake us....thank you Jesus! I depend on that truth daily. I hope you enjoy the song just as much as I do.

Emily's First Time to Ice Skate!

We took Emily ice skating for her first time last night. We went with a big group from our church over to Point Mallard in Decatur. Emily absolutely LOVED it! It was lots of hard work for Scott though, and he is pretty sore afterward. She looked so adorable in her little ice skates!
