Emily's 3rd B'day Party - Part 1

Emily's BIG day was yesterday! We celebrated her 3rd Birthday!!! We had her party at our church's Christian Life Center. Of course, it was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme :) Lots of Emily's little friends from church and school were there, and her sweet cousins and other family. They had a lot of fun jumping in the inflateable, and riding all the tricycles and cars. She got lots of fun presents! It was such a fun party!!!

Easter Service - Highland Baptist Church

This is a segment from our Easter Service at Highland Baptist in Florence. We had many people share their cardboard testimonies while our choir sang "Something Happens". It was such a moving and meaningful time in our church service that day....I wanted to share :)

Easter Weekend

What a wonderful Easter weekend!!!

It all started on Saturday with our church's Easter Egg Hunt. Emily talked about it all day, but when it came time to actually hunt the eggs, she threw her basket down, and crossed her arms. She came back with only 3 eggs, and a chocolate cross that she won for the least amount of eggs (so maybe that was her strategy...don't hunt and win chocolate)! Last night, we dyed Easter Eggs. Emily absolutely loved it. She was just a little impatient, and wouldn't let the eggs stay in the dye long enough. Today, we were thrilled to have both sets of Emily's Grandparents visit us. They all went to church with us, and then we had a wonderful lunch together. They all got to see Emily hunt the eggs she had colored, and play with the loot she got in her Easter basket. Above all, we had a wonderful morning of worship and celebration of our risen Lord and Savior. It has been a great day!!!

We got to go to a fun Easter Egg Hunt today at Emily's friend Ryland's house. Emily absolutely adores Ryland. Going to school is all about seeing him. There were several kids there. Emily got to dye eggs, and then hunt them! She had a blast. Here are just a few pics...
