Snow | February 8, 2010

We woke up early on Monday morning to a blanket of beautiful snow on the ground. It continued to snow most of the morning, and by 10 am we had 4 inches on the ground! Emily was at Nanny and PawPaw's house in Jasper, so she missed out on it :( But, I went out with Sadie and Sergeant and snapped some pictures...it was just too pretty!!!!

January's Gone????

January came and went in the blink of an eye it seems. With all the crazy weather, a trip to New York, the flu for me, stomach bug for Scott and a kidney stone for me, school starting back for Miss Emily...January just seems like a blur. Looking back at our pictures, besides all the crazyness and sickness, it was a great month! Here are just a few more pics from the month to show you what Miss Emily was up to :)
Emily helped me make Valentine heart shaped cupcakes. Of course, she wanted to be in her Minnie Mouse costume, which she pretty much wore at some point every day this month!
Emily and Sergeant
So proud of herself for completing her new Strawberry Shortcake puzzle!!!

Nana and Papa brought boxes of Scott's things from childhood, and his Curious George was there. Emily is so excited to have her Daddy's Curious George to play with.

Daddy's boxes also contained a 100 piece Pluto puzzle (well...99 actually. One piece was MIA). Emily, of course, couldn't wait to put it together...here she is, so proud!!!!
