Our day at the Zoo!

We took Emily to the Memphis Zoo on Friday. It was such a great day and an awesome zoo. She enjoyed seeing all the animals.

We got to see a Sea Lion show, where they did lots of funny tricks. Emily would clap for them! The day we were at the zoo, a new baby giraffe had been born that morning. Another baby giraffe was born in August. Emily enjoyed watching them. This monkey cracked us up.

Our absolute FAVORITE animal at the zoo was Yaya, the Panda Bear. We actually had to visit him a second time before leaving the zoo. Emily just sat at the glass and watched him eat. And Emily, of course, had to take home her own little Yaya! And she has slept with him every night :)

Heading to Church

We snapped these Sunday morning before church. Emily loves to get all dressed up on Sunday mornings, and absolutely loves to go to church and see Miss Sheila (her SS teacher).
And I had to include this one of Emily and little Sergeant. She thinks it is so funny when Sergeant kisses her. Emily found this shirt that belongs to Sergeant, and now she loves to dress him up in it....he can't stand it :) She laughs and says "Sergeant's funny Mommy".

The Pumpkin Patch

We kicked off Fall with a trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday. Emily loved it last year, and this year was no different. She enjoyed the animals, the flowers, the hayride to the pumpkin patch, picking her own little pumpkin, but her absolute favorite was climbing up the big bails of hay and sliding down. She had hay in places where hay shouldn't be :) Here are some pictures from the afternoon.
