New Hair-Do and Baking A Cake :)

Emily got a hair cut today....a big hair cut. We went WAY short this time, and it's so cute! She loved sitting like a big girl in Mrs. Gio's chair!

And here is the final result.... (told ya it was cute)!!!

Emily tried on her Easter dress today to make sure it fits...so here is a sneak peek!!! She called it a princess dress, and wouldn't stop twirling in it!

Emily helped Mommy make a Easter Bunny cake this morning. She was such a great helper!

Lesson Learned!

We learned a good lesson last night as parents :) We bought tickets to take Emily to see Playhouse Disney Live in Huntsville. She loves the cartoons on tv, so we just assumed she would love the live show. Boy, were we wrong!!! She was having a great time until Mickey Mouse walked out on stage, and she was ready to go "ByeBye" at that moment. She was terrified of the characters. So....a long ride to Huntsville to pick up a t-shirt, light-up wand, cottan candy and a cute hat....then a long ride back to Florence....what a night!!! She would have been quite content to sit at home and watch Mickey Mouse on tv...and Mommy and Daddy could have saved a nice chunk of change in return! We learned our lesson....and also know not to try Disney World for a while yet!

Our Weekend Project...

We started a little backyard project this weekend, and Emily had so much fun helping out. We are fixing a backyard play area for Emily's swingset and playhouse and an adjacent deck for Mommy and Daddy. We look forward to its completion :)

Fun Times Outdoors!

We have been enjoying the warm weather outdoors. Emily has been able to get out and run around, and play with all of her outside toys. She loves being outside with Sergeant and Sadie!

After a hard evening of playing, Emily and Daddy enjoyed chilling in the hammock!

Squeaky Clean!!!

Emily loves her bath every night. She gets her bath in Mommy's big tub :) And after bath, she loves brushing her teeth with her Tigger and Pooh toothpaste. When she gets her toothbrush, she says "I want Tigger on it"!

SNOW!!!

We woke up in Florence to a beautiful blanket of snow on the ground. Scott got out early to take a few pictures and to watch Sadie run around in it. We kept Emily inside, since she is getting over her sickness. We did stop for a second to snap a picture of her on our way out to church.

On our way home from church, the neighbors down the street had built this gigantic snowman! It's the biggest one I've ever seen. But, as you can see, all the snow has melted away :) It was beautiful while it lasted.
