Build-A-Bear

We made a visit to Build-A-Bear for Emily to pick out a new friend. It's really the first time that we've been that she has understood what's going on. She absolutely loved it. She picked Hello-Kitty and a few outfits to dress her up in.

And, of course, we had to take a ride on the carousel :)

Russellville All Stars

We spent most of Saturday at the ball field watching Rebecca play in the All Stars Tournament with her team from Russellville. It was such a fun day watching all the girls play ball. They finished out in 3rd place!!!

4th of July!!!

We had a very fun and relaxing 4th today. We started out by taking Emily to the Florence splashpad. She absolutely loves it there. We came home and Scott grilled some great hamburgers and hotdogs. I made chocolate oreo ice cream. Then we all took a great nap! Then back out for more fun on the slip-n-slide. We enjoyed dinner tonight with our wonderful neighbors! Then off to see the fireworks at the river. Emily has been SO excited all week about the fireworks, and when the first one was shot, she started screaming...she was afraid. So, we packed our chairs and gear back up, and headed to the car. 3 year olds...always unpredictable :) Exhaustion could have played a factor. We love the 4th holiday, and are so grateful for the freedom's that our country provides! Enjoy the pictures from today...

Emily crashed in her infant swing. She still loves to take naps in that swing, and I say..."Why Not?" She is WAY passed the weight limit, but it still holds her. Her best naps are always taken in that swing, so..if it works, then why change it???

Farmer Emily!

We have a couple of tomoto plants, one for Emily with miniature cherry tomoatoes, and one for me, with giant-sized ( or what should be giant-sized)tomatoes. We both absolutely LOVE tomoatoes! Well, we picked the first batch of ripe tomatoes off of Emily's plant, about 15 of them, and she enjoyed every single one. And... I'm still waiting on my giant-sized tomatoes....not even one single bloom yet. Oh well, so much for the upside-down theory....didn't work for me :( Guess I will be making a trip to the farmer's market for fresh tomatoes.
